TryAICode, Inc. ("TryAICode," "we," "us," or "our") operates the TryAICode developer tools platform and associated services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you use our website at tryaicode.com, our browser extensions, and our API services (collectively, the "Service"). Please read this policy carefully before using our Service.
We collect information you provide directly to us, information collected automatically when you use our Service, and information from third-party sources.
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, company name, and payment information. When you contact us for support, we collect the contents of your communications. When you participate in surveys or promotions, we collect your responses.
When you use the TryAICode extension or API, we collect technical data necessary to provide the Service: extension version numbers, IDE type and version, operating system type, anonymized usage telemetry (completion request count, acceptance rate, response time), and error logs. We do not collect or store the actual source code from your codebase. Code snippets sent to our inference API are processed in memory and discarded immediately after generating a completion response.
Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to analyze traffic, remember your preferences, and improve user experience. You may control cookie settings through your browser preferences. For more information, see our Cookie Policy.
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our Service; process transactions and send related information; respond to your questions and provide technical support; send product updates, security alerts, and administrative messages; monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve the Service; detect and prevent fraud, security incidents, and abuse; and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:
We engage trusted third-party service providers to perform functions on our behalf, including cloud infrastructure (Amazon Web Services), payment processing (Stripe), customer relationship management, and analytics. These providers have access to information needed to perform their functions but are not permitted to use it for other purposes.
We may disclose your information if we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; to enforce our terms of service; to protect the security or integrity of our Service; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of TryAICode, our users, or others.
If TryAICode is acquired by or merges with another company, your information may be transferred as part of the business transaction. We will notify you before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting support@tryaicode.com. We will respond to deletion requests within 30 days and complete deletion within 90 days, subject to legal retention obligations.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Our security practices include TLS 1.3 encryption for all data in transit, AES-256 encryption for data at rest, regular third-party security audits, and SOC 2 Type II certification (audit in progress, Q3 2025). No security measure is 100% effective, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
